This policy explains how kanthep.com (the “Website”) collects and uses your personal data in accordance with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA).

What data we collect and how we use it

1. Your email address when you subscribe to the newsletter When you enter your email address in the “Newsletter” box, it is sent to and stored by SendFox, the service we use to send our newsletter. We use this email address only to send you new articles, tools, templates and event news, as stated when you subscribe, on the basis of your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email.

SendFox may record whether you open an email or click a link in it, so that we can see which content is useful.

2. Spam protection on the signup form The signup form uses Google reCAPTCHA to check that the person signing up is a real human and not an automated program. reCAPTCHA runs only once you start using the form, and may collect information about your device and browser in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.

3. Emails you send to us If you contact us by email, we use your name, email address and message only to reply to you.

4. Technical data when you visit the Website The Website is served through Cloudflare, which may temporarily process your IP address and browser information in order to deliver web pages and protect against attacks. Thai fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address while the fonts load. We do not use this data to identify or track you.

Data stored in your browser

For convenience, the Website saves a few small values in your own browser (localStorage): the light or dark theme you choose, whether you have closed the newsletter popup (so it is not shown again for a period of time), and whether you have already subscribed. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us, and can be deleted by clearing the Website’s data in your browser.

Disclosure and international transfers of data

We disclose data only to the service providers necessary for the Website to function, as listed above (SendFox, Google and Cloudflare). These providers may store data on servers outside Thailand and apply data protection measures in accordance with their own policies. We may also disclose data where required by law.

Your rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to access and obtain a copy of your data, to have your data corrected, to have your data deleted, to withdraw your consent, to object to or request restriction of the use of your data, and to receive your data in a commonly readable format. Please send requests to kanthep01@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you believe your data has been used unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) at pdpc.or.th.

Articles may contain links to other websites, and after subscribing you may be taken to our Facebook page. Those websites have their own privacy policies, which are outside our responsibility.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Website or the services it uses change, and we will update the “Last updated” date above each time.
